In Centers for Spiritual Living, we practice a form of affirmative prayer called “Spiritual Mind Treatment.” According to our founder, Dr. Ernest Holmes, “The secret of prayer and its power in the outward life depends upon an unconditioned faith in, and reliance upon this inner Presence. We must enter the closet. That is, we are to shut out all else and enter the Presence of Spirit, in quietness and confidence—believing.”

Affirmative Prayer, is a tool that aligns our thoughts with the all good of God. Affirmative Prayer is a powerful process that shifts our consciousness so that we are open and available to accept the good that is already present in our life.

Minute Meditation & More

Before every service on Sunday you are welcome to join us for our Meditation Service from 9:30 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.
We gather in the Practitioner's Chapel, which is in Harmony Hall behind the brown curtain at the back..

If you have prayer requests for self, family or friends you can fill out a prayer request form, which you'll find on the cube in the hall. Fill it out, drop it in the box and rest assured that a Practitioner will pray for you.

Also after every Sunday service you can find one of our Practitioners with their braids on for a "one minute miracle." This is a brief affirmative prayer session...our gift to you.

Practitioner Session

A Practitioner is one who endeavors to heal themselves and others through the recognition of the creative power of Mind and the ever availability of Good. Practitioners are individuals who have been trained in the art, skill and science of Affirmative Prayer. A Practitioner seeks to demonstrate the power of spiritual realization in everyday affairs and believes in Divine guidance. A Practitioner sees through whatever condition someone is facing to the spiritual truth of your being, bringing about a change in the circumstance. Practitioners are licensed to practice professionally, and are bound by a high code of ethics to respect your privacy.
