Rev. Shawn began her ministry in 1999 as our Assistant Minister, and then became the Senior Minister in 2002. Shawn says, “When I discovered this philosophy in the late 80’s I was thrilled to know there was a church that taught what I intuitively believed. Up until then I considered myself un-churched, but I always believed there was a creative energy, a power that is greater than I am as well as within me.” She has come to find out that there are many people that share her views.

Rev. Shawn’s vision is to be a catalyst for growth and transformation in a community setting. She wants everyone to know they are loved and wonderful, just the way they are. Everyone is a perfect expression of the One, regardless of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, economic status, religious background or any other labels with which we tend to separate ourselves.

The Rev. is playful, wise and heart-centered. Shawn has the ability to make this philosophy very accessible. She has developed a style that lets you know she is authentic and in turn invites you to be your true self. She says that what she has learned and achieved, you can too. Sunday services are meaningful and inspirational, with plenty of things to contemplate as well as a great deal of fun. Some people say  we are the “feel good church” and Rev. Shawn is happy to be a part of that!
